When adidas introduced the Forum in 1984, this model was considered the most technically advanced basketball shoe on the market because the integrated heel cup and Velcro strap gave the foot significantly more stability than comparable models. And today, a good quarter of a century later, adidas’ Forum is considered one of the most popular low-tops in early 80s design.
