The 2016 USA vs World Game took place on February 12, 2016 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada., the site of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. It was the first time that the NBA held the ASG outside of the United States. To mark the occasion the World Team was the home squad, which was normally given to the USA.
