Mizuno Contender ‘Kintsugi Pack’

Following their collaborative Wave Rider 10 with Italian and French retailer One Block Down, Mizuno are keeping things local. Taking inspiration from Kintsugi, a Japanese art form, it makes its way onto the Mizuno Contender.

Kintsugi embraces imperfection by mixing lacquer and dusted precious metals to repair broken pottery, treating the breakage as a part of its journey and history rather than disguising it. The Contender has a white mesh base with cream overlays and black and gold accenting, tapping into the Kintsugi inspiration.
