diadora Heritage B.Elite x ACBC
Diadora continues its journey towards more sustainable footwear with the support of ACBC. This time, they have reimagined a classic retro-tennis heritage: the B.Elite.
In a harmonious blend of sustainable materials and technological innovation, the B.Elite features an upper crafted partly from GrapeBase, a bio-derived material from grape marc, and rPET, which is post-consumer recycled polyester. The overlays are made from RePA, a FreeBioTM material composed of pre-consumer recycled polyamide, while the inner lining is made from organic cotton.
The laces and tongue label are entirely constructed from rPET, and the insole is composed of ReRubber, a material derived from pre-consumer production waste. ReRubber is also used in the midsole and outsole. This unique rubber blend is exceptionally flexible and durable, created using a combination of virgin and pre-consumer recycled materials.
Throughout the years, the B.Elite has garnered the admiration of both athletes and lifestyle enthusiasts, solidifying its status as an iconic footwear choice. This sustainable reinterpretation in collaboration with ACBC represents just one of the many exciting transformations that the B.Elite has undergone over time.
